Tel Aviv, Israel — The Israeli Ministry of Health has approved a new course for physicians in the study of aesthetic treatments using human cadavers.
The course, which will be administered by clinicians with McGill University, Montreal, is now available for the first time in Israel and will feature Reaction by Viora, a multifrequency radiofrequency device used in various dermatological procedures, PRWeb reports.
The course will cover a variety of cosmetic procedures, recent innovations in the industry and include hands-on experiments on cadavers. Other topics will include histological aspects of the skin and discussions emphasizing solutions for aging and other cosmetic skin issues.
“This course is groundbreaking for allowing the study of aesthetics with the use of cadavers,” PRWeb quotes Monica Elman, M.D., a course administrator, as saying. “The ability to view the affects of new technology will provide a strong base for physicians currently in the aesthetic field, as well as those who are weighing the possibilities of moving toward that direction.”
